"Bless me, Father, for I have sinned.....I really need to talk to you."

"Please do." Through the screen of the confessional, Father Dom Davis thought he recognized the seductive fragrance of the perfume before he became aware of her equally sexy voice.

"Father, I'm pregnant...and not married." If it were not for the perfume and the seductive voice, Dom might not feel those familiar stirrings. But, he knew arousal was imminent.

"Please tell me more about it." The handsome, blue-eyed thirty year old priest liked to practice what he was studying in graduate school in psychology.

"Well, I'm madly in love and we got pregnant. I really want to marry him, but I don't think he will..." With each word the naive, young priest became increasingly aroused.

"Have you asked him yet?"

"No." The penitent sounded very alone.

"Why not?" Dom was being drawn into the situation faster than his own physical excitement was expanding.

"Because you are the father...Father..?" And then, dead silence.

Dead silence...dead erection...dead career...dead degree...deep depression.

"I hated to break it to you this way, Dom, but they read your mail, monitor your phone calls, and keep you from freely living in or leaving that Goddamned religious house. Besides, lover, you're so busy with graduate school, and I never get to see you enough, anyway." Back to Book Listing.
